Plasma
today we fixed the needle valve on grahams chamber and reinstalled the impedance match box. This time we ignited the plasma very quickly and were able to put in over 1kw of rf power into the plasma with only 8.5% reflected power. So the match box is doing its job well. We also turned up the magnets to a high enough value to see a nice plasma column on the target stage. We saw a nice purple then blue plasma inside the chamber with a well defined geometry. SUCCESS!
